Educational Technology Sales Associate (work from home)

Full-time position available

Overview of Position

Varsity Tutors, a national private tutoring company with over 2,000 tutors across 25 metro areas, is seeking an Educational Sales Associates to help expand its national marketing efforts. The Educational Sales Associate will be an integral part of enhancing Varsity Tutors’ sales efforts. The ideal applicant will love speaking with people by phone and be comfortable making a high volume of phone calls per day. This is a position that requires the individual to be self-motivated and capable of being productive while working remotely.

Qualifications

• Previous experience making a high volume of outreach phone calls per day
• Warm, friendly phone presence
• Strong communication skills
• Willingness to learn about our educational products
• Desire to work for a high-growth startup
• High speed Internet access (9+ MBPS)

Responsibilities

• Make 60-70 phone calls per day related to partnership opportunities and marketing outreach
• Follow-up with leads by phone and email
• Convince leads to use our educational products
• Relay feedback received on products to our sales and software development teams
