Legit Work at Home Positions And Requirements



This blog is just an overview of the types of positions and requirements for most work from home positions. I will post employment opportunities as I find legitimate work from home positions. Most people are opting to stay at home to work, because of the convenience of not having to leave home.You can simply walk into your den or living room or where ever you have your computer set up and you can start your day at work. You can slip on some comfy clothes, save on money on gas, have more time with your family, you won't have your co-workers or boss looking over your shoulders, you can relax and focus on being productive doing your job.

 These jobs are NOT get rich quick schemes and you probably won't make six figures, however, you'll be able to supplement your income with these legit job opportunities and some of the companies offer health insurance, paid training, vacation time off, holiday's off. If a company offers benefits I will have that information listed.  

Some positions requires background and credit checks and you may have to take an assessment test, so that the company can assess your skill level. I will try to get information regarding background checks and credit checks so that you can make a decision on if you would like to apply for a position with that company. I don't want you to waist your time filling out the job application if you feel like you may not qualify.


 I will not list any business opportunity that requires money or says you'll make $2000 to $ 3000 a month usually they are scams.


Most of the job opportunities requires that you have a reliable desktop or laptop computer. You'll need high speed internet access either cable or DSL, wireless networks will not accepted. You have to be able to hook your computer to your modem with a Ethernet cable.  

These are the major requirements for most jobs like customer service, sales agents, reservations agents, helpdesk, appointment setters, customer support specialist, telemarketing virtual assistants, medical transcriptions, claims representative and more! The job postings will give you a detailed breakdown of what the requirements are for the positions.



  • Have your own USB headset
  • Upload and Download internet speeds of 1MB or greater. (Can be tested on http://www.speedtest.net/)
  • PC or laptop that meets the following requirements:
    • Windows XP, Vista 32-bit or 64-bit,  Windows 7  32-bit or 64-bit operating system
    • 5gb hard disc space available (or greater)
    • Pentium 4 or higher processor
    • Network card
    • 1G RAM (minimum) 2G (recommended)
    • Anti-virus software.
    • Landline or VOIP phone service
    • Room with a door
    • Quite area to work
    • Be able to work with minimal supervision
    • Be able to troubleshoot your computer technical issues
    • Be able to sit for a long period of time
    • Be able to meet deadlines 


  • There are also Non Phone positions such as blogging, article writing, website evaluators, SEO evaluators, listening and reviewing phone calls, scoring student  test assessments, tutors, teachers, survey takers, social media specialist, transcribing reports medical and non medical, editing, proofreading, data entry, health coach, life coach and the list goes on and on!
